2nd place prize for dancers in carnival procession

Dancers from Helena Jane Classes and Coaching scooped 2^nd prize in the walking procession at Astwood Bank Carnival.

The carnival theme was ‘The Wonderful World of Books’ and our dancers dressed up as favourite children’s book characters. Though we are a dance school for adults, we are all young at heart!

Characters included Maleficent, a flower fairy, Angelina Ballerina, the Queen of Hearts, a pirate from Neverland and Fancy Nancy.

We clearly impressed the judges with our costumes, colourful umbrellas and of course, our dance moves!

As well as taking part in the procession, dancers from our Silver Swans classes performed a beautiful ballet dance in the main arena featuring colourful wings. Dancers taking part attend our regular Silver Swans classes in Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon, Offenham, Droitwich and Alcester.
