Dancers from across Worcestershire & Warwickshire have raised £2,072 for small charities at their annual Gala event. 43 dancers took to the stage, ranging in age from their 30s to their 80s.

The dancers all attend dance classes for adults with Helena Jane Classes & Coaching. They performed a number of routines in ballet, tap and theatre dance styles, set to music from the movies, at the event at The Greig Hall in Alcester on Saturday 7th June. Some of the dancers had previous performing experience, but for many it was their first time on stage!

The dance Gala, which also featured Oscars themed decorations, guest performances and a charity raffle, was held in aid of two charities: Wonder Wards (supporting life-limited children and their families) and Warwickshire Hedgehog Rescue. The charities were voted for by members of the dance classes.
The dancers involved in the performance attend weekly dance classes for adults in ballet, tap and theatre dance in locations across Worcestershire & Warwickshire. 2025 is the third year the Gala has been running.
